WHATSAPP
PILL BETTER

Gen Z often turns to the dark web for anxiety and depression meds.
How can WhatsApp foster mental health conversations?

Pill Better offers capsules printed with a WhatsApp number that connects users to therapist chatbots for issues like doomscrolling, cyberbullying, and anxiety — encouraging Gen Z to turn to people and professionals, not pills.

Art Director: Seine Kongruangkit | Copywriter: Riya Dosani

We partnered with renowned therapists such as Susan Blackmore, Martin Seligman, and others to design the chatbots. Users simply had to save the number to start a conversation on WhatsApp.

The chatbots encouraged young adults to open up to friends and family — and made it easy to book a free consultation with a therapist directly through WhatsApp.

Each box included an insert with detailed information about the therapists and their areas of expertise.

Pill Better was sold on the dark web, promoted through targeted Reddit ads, and even placed in Walgreens alongside regular medication.
